Allison

Age: 21

Hometown: Salem, Ohio

Occupation: Recent college graduate. AKA, an economic drain. In the fall, I'll be attending New York University for my master's degree in music business.

Places traveled previously: Nowhere outside of the U.S. Within the U.S.: lived in New York City and Pittsburgh, PA; Chicago, Illinois; Orlando, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Louisville, Kentucky; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Providence, Rhode Island; New Jersey; Washington, D.C.

Looking forward to most in Europe: Definitely looking forward to Liverpool! I fought for it because I'm a huge Beatles fan and I can't wait to see where the greatest band in the world was reared. Also looking forward to London and meeting Ashleigh and Martin (our gracious hosts for our first few days), and seeing Wittenburg and the Luther Bible in Germany.

Specific things to see: Gotta see the Tower of London (London), the London Eye (London), the Louvre (Paris), Pierre LaChaise Cemetary (Paris), Mozarts Geburtshaus (Salzburg), Dachau (Munich), Neuschwanstein (Munich), and the Brandenburg Gate (Berlin)

Trip stressors: I really wasn't as stressed as probably Colin was throughout this whole ordeal, but I was frustrated because I got very sick at the end of March when we were booking all of our hostels. Colin was a great help though, and took care of all of the hostel reservations and then rail passes. Other than that, I'm DEATHLY afraid of flying so I'm terrified. Hopefully we won't crash and die, though! Cross your fingers.

Trip goals: You know, I just really want to relax on this trip and clear my head. I want to experience as much as I can, but I don't want to stress or worry at all. I've been surrounded with so many people and situations and projects for the past four years that I just want to get away and go somewhere completely different and contemplate life a little and sort out some ideas and things that I have. How existential of me.

Anything else: O'Doyle rules!
