August 21, 2009 Added a new article, although it's really not that informative. I just put it up there because it makes me chuckle.

August 19, 2009 Did a big update to the photo gallery:

- 9 new photos of Steve Boone
- 2 new photos of Zal Yanovsky
- 2 new group photos (including an old ad)
- 1 new photo of John Sebastian

We're now at a whopping 50 photos! I might try to organize the photo gallery at some point, but I personally kind of like it as a mish-mash of all the members, and not completely ordered. Feel free to offer me some feedback on the subject!

I've been getting 60s teen mags right and left from eBay, so I'll definitely have a lot to scan when I get back to NYC. Between Beth and me, we're trying to get every mention of the Spoonful ever in print. Haha. Stay tuned for an added article or two!

August 13, 2009 Fixed a few typos around the site and updated the "About Allison" page. Some of my mags have been arriving from eBay and later today I'm going to try and add a new article or two. I also have pics to add (and pics to scan, including some very cute baby pics of the Spoons from a '66 Tiger Beat).

For now, check out this article from my own hometown Cleveland Plain Dealer in which John Sebastian is interviewed about the 40th anniversary of Woodstock. If you're in Cleveland, check out the Woodstock celebration the weekend of August 21-23, and makes sure you see the new exhibit there on the festival - John's famous jacket is included in the collection!

One last (sad) note, R.I.P Les Paul!

August 6, 2009 Added a new article from 1966, since I got a new mag in the mail. I bought three more off of eBay today (I really need a rehab program STAT), so expect more articles in the future. One looks especially promising! Also, happy birthday to my dear Andy Warhol! <3

August 5, 2009 Added 13 photos of Zal Yanovsky to the photo gallery. Still need to add the Steve Boone pics, among others. Lots coming, folks! The John Sebastian show on Sunday was FANTASTIC. He never disappoints. Love him! I need to create a page or something about his shows... we'll see! Stay tuned.

July 26, 2009 Site opened. Heading to Dayton this weekend to see John Sebastian for my birthday with my best friend, Beth. Pretty excited about that one! Expect a full report when I return!
