I love history and I firmly believe in the preservation of historical areas. On this page will eventually be a documentation of places in New York City where the Spoonful played, lived, hung out, or the like. I live in New York and will be exploring Greenwich Village a lot this summer, but as you can imagine, that area is a lot different than it was in the 1960s. (Mainly thanks to NYU, which has torn down many of the buildings and replaced them with huge, ugly monstrosities.) However, I'll try to uncover as much as I can and write about my findings here.
